Sexual harassment is any unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment or interferes with a person's work or academic performance. It can be verbal, non-verbal, or physical, including unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other sexually explicit remarks or behaviors. It can happen in any setting and is a form of sexual violence where the victim is not at fault. 

Examples of sexual harassment

·       Verbal: 

Sexually explicit remarks, unwanted comments about a person's body or appearance, or sexually suggestive jokes. 

·       Physical: 

Unwanted touching, physical advances, or any other unwelcome physical conduct. 

·       Visual: 

Showing pornography or other sexually explicit images. 

·       Implicit or explicit requests: 

Demanding sexual favors in exchange for benefits or threatening negative consequences for refusal.
